Domain lock and privacy availability

Domain lock and registration-data privacy depend on the TLD, registry rules and the registrar managing that domain. They are not guaranteed for every extension.

Open the domain in My Account and use the controls that are displayed for that registrar-managed domain. A control can be absent when the provider or TLD does not support it.

Contact support before a transfer if you cannot unlock a supported domain or obtain the required authorization code.
