Install WordPress on a hosting account

Use the installer or WordPress tools exposed by the connected hosting server.

Open the hosting service in your account and follow its cPanel or WordPress management link. Use the WordPress installer or WP Toolkit when that connected server exposes the feature.

  1. Select the domain and HTTPS URL.
  2. Choose a unique administrator username and a strong password.
  3. Confirm the installation path, site title and update settings.
  4. After installation, test the public site, wp-admin and HTTPS.

Tool names and completion time vary by server. If no installer is shown, use the documented cPanel workflow or ask support which option is available for that service.
